We wish you a MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!!!

Wow what a busy month!!! I haven't posted in a couple of weeks so bear with me as I catch you up. First of all we went to the Shelbyville Christmas parade, that was really fun. We always watch the parade with JJ, Sue Sue, Ethan,
Baw Baw and Sam Sam. This year we were joined by
Eric, Jennifer and sweet little Molly Kate. (Ethan was really having fun!)

Of course we ate and ate and ate then when exchanged gifts and then we always play dirty Santa. That is so much fun. This is one of my favorite things about Christmas is spending time with family that we don't get to see a lot of through out the year.
We started this week off by going to the Unionville/Liberty Jr. High basketball game. Kaylee had a hard time figuring out who she was going to cheer for since Katie and Jake play for Unionville but she goes to school at Liberty. Man....I wish that is all I had to worry about! But she made it, she sat on Unionville side for a while and then went and sat on Liberty side. Tuesday was work and school as normal. Then Wednesday I started my vacation. I was up at 7:00 got Kaylee ready for school and then I did nothing but wrap gifts the rest of the day. Good grief, I didn't think I was ever going to get done. Then I had to make rice crispy treats for Kaylee's school. Thursday we got up and went to Kaylee's Christmas party at school from 8:00 til 10:00 and that started CHRISTMAS break for Kaylee.....whewwhoooooo!!!! We left from there went to Murfreesboro to finish up our shopping. Kaylee got to see Santa at the mall and of course left him with a list a mile long.

The rest of the weekend we really don't really have anything planned. Our Christmas will start Christmas Eve at Kris' Mom's house and then we go to his Dad's. We will then come home sometime that night and hope that the big guy makes a stop at the Adams' house!!! Christmas morning all of the grandparents come to our house to see what Santa brought, then we will spend the rest of the day at my Mom's house!
LOVE TO ALL!
MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!!!

SURPRISE!!

Last night we got my Mom; we celebrated her 50th birthday at Riverbend Country Club with a surprise party. She had NO idea! It was absolutely awesome, the look on her face was priceless! There were about 40 friends and family in attendance. We had dinner, a slide show that had about half the room in tears, birthday cake, gifts, and a little dancing. I think everyone there had lots of fun. Thanks to everyone who came to celebrate this very special time with my Mom, I know she treasured every moment!

Baby News
I just got back from the Dr. and everything was great! When Dr. Moss would try to hear the heartbeat the baby would move away so she had to chase it down two or three times so we could actually get a count on it. The heartbeat was in the 140's and Dr. Moss said that sounds "boyish" to me! We go back Jan. 4 to find out what this little one is.

So how many of you have started your Christmas shopping? How many of you are already done? Well I have got a good start on mine. My Mom and I went Saturday we left Shelbyville at 1:30 and got back at 10:00pm. Whewwwww....talk about tired when we got back. Our last stop was Kohl's and you know when I say ok I'm so tired I can't even shop anymore I must be REALLY tired! We did get a lot done and had a great time.
Kaylee got her report card last Wednesday and once again got straight S's for the second six weeks. Way to go Kaylee!!!! School starts back in the morning after being off for Thanksgiving break. She is so ready to go back even though she had a great time off because she stayed two nights with Nana & Papaw.
Monday night Susan and I will be going to Angie's to finish making our last set of hand made Christmas cards. We always have a great time doing that, maybe you will receive one of our beautiful cards!
The pregnancy is going great, growing bigger everyday. We go back to the Dr. a week from tomorrow. I wonder how much weight I will have gained, at least I can use Thanksgiving as an excuse!!!!

Weekend
Our weekend started out on Friday evening by my mom, Kaylee and I going to the Unionville alumni boys and girls basketball games. We had so much fun although I didn't get to play this year, it was still a fun time seeing and visiting with old friends. You don't realize how much you miss people until see them.

Saturday evening we all (including my parents) went to the Liberty School fall festival. They had all kinds of games, vendors, dinner, a live auction and then the crowning of the fall festival king and queen. Kaylee had a great time running around the school with all of her friends. My Mom was bidding on a basket of baby goodies for me but she didn't win it she stopped bidding at $60.00 which I would have quit long before that, even though it was a very nice gift basket.
Sunday we had Thanksgiving with my Mom's side of the family at my cousin's home in Unionville. Of course everyone had a blast, something is wrong when you don't have fun with family and a spread of food to feed an army! I am so thankful to have such a wonderful family!
Monday night is Unionville Jr. High Homecoming. Mom, Kaylee and I will be attending that. My cousin Katie plays for the Viqueens and my cousin Jake plays on the boys team. You know how basketball is in my blood, so I try not to miss their home games!
Here is the first pregnant picture of me, I didn't take pictures along the way with Kaylee until the very end and I vowed that I would do better this time. I am almost 14 weeks and feeling pretty good, my energy is starting to come back and I don't fell like I need to sleep all the time. The neausea has somewhat subsided but I still try not to let my stomach get too empty.

I'm sure that I will not get a chance to post again until after Thanksgiving, so I hope each of you have a very blessed THANKSGIVING!!!

Kaylee's going to be a big sister!
That's right......we are expecting a baby in May. We are 12 weeks prego and could not be happier. We went to the Dr. Friday and she confirmed that we are over our "high risk" hump and that our baby has a very healthy heart beat around 150 bpm. I only gained one and a half pounds through the first 12 weeks, which she said that is great, they don't like to see over 2 lbs. in the first trimester. It has been so hard to keep such a big secret and keep the nerves controlled. I'm telling you Friday when we heard that little heart beat my insides were screaming with joy and excitment. We are so happy and now maybe we can set back and enjoy the pregnancy. We go back to the Dr. Dec 3., please keep us in your prayers.

Our accident prone child
So this morning we get up and Kaylee says to me, " Mom my foot hurts I can't hardly walk on it", of course I'm thinking WHAT!!! As you will remember it was this time last year that she broke the growth plate in her right foot, so of course I was terrified thinking that something was wrong with that foot or maybe it was the weather or something. Well of course as I looked at it, it was not the right foot it was the left foot and yes it was swollen. So I'm racking my brain trying to figure out what she has done. She said she didn't fall or anything and I didn't see her fall so why was it swollen? Anyway....Kris took her on to the Dr. and they said it was just a mild sprain but if the swelling doesn't go down to bring her back next week. We still have NO idea what she did to hurt it and may I remind you it has only been two and half weeks since she got her arm out of the hot pink cast!
