Oh well..I ABSOLUTELY love my van now...3 weeks later.....
I knew I needed to get something a little bigger than my Acura because Kara Brooke's car seat would not even fit behind the driver side or passenger side without the front seat being moved all the way up into the dash. Kris would not let me get a bigger SUV because of gas prices which I totally agreed........BUT a VAN????? When we went to look I wouldn't even get out of the car to look at a van at first but when I did and drove it I changed my mind completely. So I have come to the conclusion if you have more than one kido, a huge stroller, bat bag, swim bag, lawn chairs (that stay in year around for the different ball fields that we visit) and ALL the other junk that I have to tote around, you need a van!!! So please don't make fun of me when you see me coming in my new "grocery getter" as Kim W. says!

Hey nice ride... I understand what you are saying. We have a big suv that will hold 8 people but by the time we put me...brent...lane..sarabeth..and ALL there stuff that they need for sports we have no more room!!! I would drive a van for sure..The things you do for your kids...
I can't say nothing I might be sporting one before long. LOL
LOL! I LOVE my minivan!!! I love that the doors open automatically and slide back...no bumping the cars beside me with my big booty! I the name "grocery getter."
Most people that have them think they are just super, but for the life of me, I am 57 and I just can't imagine me driving a van. Some of them are more comfortable than cars. Don't let nobody make fun of you girl,,, a gals gotta' do what a gals gotta' do.
Girl - welcome to the world of "grocery-gettin" - I traded in my Murano {totally in love with it} for mine! I still miss it - boo-hoo!
You will have to look back on the crazy life blog and find the video that I posted a while back about the "mini-van"! It's hysterical!
Holli,
I have a van just like yours except mine is white. I'm hooked on a mini van! I know I'll be that 70 year old grandma still driving a van. By the way, we're the cool ones! Well...uh...let's say we're the SMART ones!
Okay, my first try at leaving a comment!:) I saw you in your van at softball camp yesterday and almost didn't recognize you. I love it! My high school and college friends made fun of me when I got mine - they called it the "mom mobile." I said hey that's what I am!!! The girls were born so close together I had a double stroller, and it wasn't fitting in my Sentra.:) There's no turning back for me now!:) Maybe I will recognize you next time!:) Enjoy!

Came to you via Kim's blog. Love your new ride and you will love it too. I have LOVED having one and once you have it for awhile it is hard to imagine not having the sliding doors and the massive room. It is the mommy rite of passage...Welcome!
