3rd Trimester

Can you believe it??? 12 weeks or should I say 83 days left to go.......WOW! Kara Brooke is going to be here before we know it....I am so excited I could pee my pants (which isn't hard to do here lately)! We now have LOTS of movement especially at night or when I get still. My hands, feet and ankles have started to swell so I am going to keep a close watch on that. Kris says I have cankles at night! I had pre-eclampsia with Kaylee and gained 72 pounds, just ask Susan she will tell you that I looked like a cabbage patch kid! I am trying to NOT go for that look again! So far I have gained 18 pounds but I go back to the Dr. March 3rd, so who knows how much more it will be. I have noticed that it is getting hard for me to squat down and get back up and turning over in bed is a chore, yes I know I still lack 83 days, it is going to get worse. I am not whining yet, just telling ya how it is!

On another note, my dear husband has been working really hard getting things done around the house before his business picks back up in a few more weeks. I had the idea I wanted to repaint Kaylee's room and rearrange it so of course he jumped right in and got it all Kiltzed and will start painting it yellow tomorrow, he is such a sweetie but after he goes back to work I can hang it up! We will never see him! I will post pictures of Miss Kaylee's finished room when it all comes together.

Wedding

This past weekend my dear Aunt Wilma got remarried. My uncle past away several years ago and she finally has found her someone to spend the rest of her life with. To me it was a bitter sweet day...I guess because my uncle was my Mom's brother and really she is not my aunt anymore plus the fact that she is moving to Lewisburg. So she is selling her house which is on one side of my grandparents farm and of course that is all I have ever known. But anyway it was a beautiful day, beautiful wedding and one BEAUTIFUL little flower girl!!!

My Dear Friend....

For those of you who may not have heard already, my best friend in the whole wide world, Susan P. had to have emergency surgery Sunday evening. First of all she had been having trouble with her gallbladder and had already set up an appointment to meet with a surgen in Murfreesboro on Wednesday. Well Sunday morning came and she called me saying that she had been in severe pain all morning and she was about to go to the ER. She said she didn't think it was her gallbladder it was a different pain. She went through all kinds of test Sunday and the surgeon that she was supposed to meet with this Wednesday came to the ER and they figured out that it was her appendix. So the Dr. decided that it could not wait and went ahead and removed both gallbladder and appendix! WOW, what a tough girl!!! She was in surgery for an hour and then in recovery for about an hour. She did great. She got to come home late Monday afternoon and will be out of work for at least a week. Please say an extra special little prayer for a speedy recovery!!! While she was in the hospital we got to keep her little boy, Ethan! We had SOOOOO much fun with him, he was such a joy and kept us laughing (just like his Mommy)! He and Kaylee played and played until neither of them could hold their little eyes open.

Today we went to Chuck E. Cheese's.......I have been to Chucky's tons of times and I think today it was more busy than I have EVER seen it. It was C-R-A-Z-Y!!! Let me just say Ethan does NOT like Chucky; we were on Chucky look out the whole time we were eatting. We did manage to play a few games before everyone got sleepy and tired of fighting the crowd.

If you think you know the name you may guess the entire name one time a day, but you have to email me at holli.adams@pnfp.com, NO leaving the entire name on the comments section! The first person to guess the name with correct spelling wins. If your name is Susan P., Melissa B. or you work with me or you are my mom, you are disqualified and you MUST keep quite! To all others start guessing those letters, I bet it will not take you long!!! Just remember one letter a day, the more people that play the faster it will go!! HAVE FUN!!!

50 Things I Have Learned By Being A Bank Teller

1. I know everyone in the world, so I never need to ask for ID.
2. "I'll be with you in one moment," means "Come right up here into my business and breathe your popcorn breath in my face for a while."
3. Every bank in the world steals money from its customers, particularly from the ones that don't keep a transaction register.
4. I'm always kidding when I tell people a check is not any good. I'm a good kidder.
5. I know the balance of every account at the bank.
6. I am at the bank just because I feel like it. My window isn't actually open when I say, "May I help you?"
7. I know everyone's account number.
8. I know everyone's address.
9. I don't understand how banking works.
10. I have to do whatever the person who gave my customer the check said.
11. I don't know how to count.
12. I don't know how to add.
13. I don't know what the date is.
14. I can read everyone's mind.
15. If I ask for your social, Im trying to steal your identity.
16. I know when every new coin will be arriving.
17. I know how much everyones bills are for the month.
18. We don't sell stamps.
19. We are just here for fun on most holidays, we're not really open. We love it when you rub it in.
20. When someone asks how you want your cash back, your suppose to wait until I have it counted it back to you.
21. Apparently people have different definitions of commercial.
22. Your time is more important than mine. I have no life. When you show up 5 minutes before we close to make 10 deposits or open a new account, we don't mind.
23. Everyone with the Bank name tag is related.
24. I am also your secretary.
25. We love to place holds on your checks for fun. We are the only bank that does it.
26. 13 hours and 10 minutes is not enough time for people to do their business.
27. I am in charge of the never ending popcorn, smarties, lollipops, and coffee.
28. It is polite to ignore someone when they say hello.
29. It is my fault when someone cuts you in line. I should have been paying attention to you and not your money.
30. I know what a checkingdepositwithdrawal for savings is.
31. Being rude should make me want to help you more.
32. I am not really human. I should never make mistakes.
33. It is okay to walk into someone's office when their door is shut.
34. I have a secret collection of licenses in my cubby.
35. I can't hear. I need you to ding the bell 5 times in a row.
36. The sign that says "Next Window Please" is just for decoration.
37. I make people wait on purpose. It's fun to make them mad.
38. I know everyone's PIN number to their ATM card.
38. Fraud doesn't really happen to anyone. Therefore, I should give everyone exactly what they want.
39. The coin machine is my favorite thing to do.
40. The bank gives out free poinsettias at Christmas. We order them for you, not the bank. Display only means whatever you want it to mean.
41. Please and Thank You are forbidden words at the bank. We hate to hear them.
42. Checking and Savings deposit slips are EXACTLY the same, we just like all the pretty colors and wanted to make them more colorful. Marking through the word savings changes the deposit slip completely!
43. When I tell someone the same thing over and over, I'm just doing it for fun. I like to waste my breath.
44. We will break the rules for anybody as long as you gripe for more than 10 minutes..
45. I am a professional coin counter. Even when the machine is broken, I will count the coin for you by hand!
46. I am psychic. When you call I can recognize your voice and pull up your information automatically. My computer is voice activated. It's all that fancy technology we have.
47. You don't have to tell me that you've been with the bank for 50 years. I can tell.
48. Even after 5 years, I am a new teller to anyone who has never seen me before. If I've never met you, I have no idea what I'm doing.

50. I'm an idiot.

The walls are green!

Kris got lil misses room painted over the weekend. It looks wonderful! It is a light green kind of a minty green. Her bedding is pink, green and white polka dots and stripes. I will post more pictures as the room starts to come together. But for now here is the transformation from taupe to green.

I failed!

Well today I am an offical flunkie!!! Not only did I fail the glucose test, I also failed my iron test!! Dr. Moss has been checking my iron every so often to make sure that it is at normal levels because with Kaylee it stayed really low and then as most of you know I ended up having to have three blood transfusions. But anyway....Dr. Moss thinks that my blood sugar was high because of the infection in my tooth. She said that infection will always cause sugar to sky rocket. I did not know that! She also said that iron tries to eat up infection so that was probably why my iron was so low. Didn't know that either! So this crazy tooth is the culprit of all my failed test today! Wednesday I go back to the Endodontist to finish this root canal; hopefully if the infection is gone. Monday I go back to Dr. Moss for the three hour test.

I have to drink the orange Glucola stuff in the morning. I'll post the results later Monday. Keep your fingers crossed for me!

Friday night we had two very special guests at our house, Kris' friend David and his wife Shannon from Hattisburg, MS had been to a class in Memphis for a couple of days and decided to come on up and visit us for a few hours. We were so glad they got to come. Kris hasn't seen David in eight years and of course I had never meet him and David had just recently got married so we both got to meet his so sweet wife Shannon. We went out to eat at Chili's and then came back to our house for a little catching up. Neither David or Shannon had ever played the Wii so that was really fun, I think they really enjoyed it, they both are very competitive people so I think they will probably own a Wii within the next week! They didn't get to stay long but we truly enjoyed them while they were here and can not wait for them to come back when they can stay longer!
