Lots to talk about...

Alright I know it has been awhile so hang with me as we do some catching up...

Two weekends ago was the beginning of soccer season.  We played in the preseason tournament and took second place on Sunday afternoon in the championship game.  Congrats to Adams Lawn Service U-8 girls soccer team.  We actually lost to a team full of Kaylee's friends and as competitive as you all know that I am....it was a hard fought game that we HATED to lose!!!  Just kidding...I know half of you reading this has a child on "that red team"!!!  hehheheheheh!!!  Love ya guys!

Last weekend we started our regular season games with a win. We played again this morning and that was another W for our little girls.  So that is 2-0 for the green team!

My long time friend Ashley got married last Saturday in Murfreesboro.  It was such a sweet little wedding and we are so happy for her.  She and Billy make a great couple....CONGRATS!

Ethan

On Sept. 16 Kris and I celebrated our 8 year anniversary.  He stayed home with KB while I took Kaylee to soccer practice.

Our engagement picture

Kara Brooke went to see Dr. Bradley for her 4 month check up on Wednesday.  She tipped the scale at 17lbs. and are you ready for this.......27 in. long........WHEW!  Of course she is off the chart on her height and almost off the chart on her weight.  She is measuring the size of a 6 month old.  She is now going to be eating cereal mixed with fruit from a spoon two times a day.  She also said that she could have 4oz. of juice a day if she needed it but try not to start the juice just yet because she don't want her getting use to the juice and not wanting her formula.  So today I had to buy size 3 diapers and some Gerber 1st food banana's.....this little girl is just growing WAAYYYY to fast!

And just in case you have not already heard this family........

.....is having a BABY BOY in January!!!!

Kara Brooke's new trick!

Well it is official KB can now roll over from her back to her tummy.  So...she was at Mom's playing on her floor mat and Mom walked away from her for a minute and when she came back...taaadaaaaa....Kara Brooke was on her belly up on her elbows looking around.  Now she will not lay on her back at all, she immediately rolls over and then gets mad when she is on her tummy.  Good thing is her nose seems to drain when she is on her belly.  I have been trying to upload video of her but it seems to fail every time.  Not sure what is wrong maybe because I use a mac and not a PC.  Any ideas on how to get this video uploaded, please let me know.

Hope everyone had a great Labor Day!  Bring on Fall!  I'm ready for cooler weather, soccer games, football games, Bell Buckle craft fair, Halloween, homemade chili and the beautiful colors and smells!

More big girl pictures

Our little pumpkin woke up this morning with a little nasal congestion.  Actually she didn't sleep soundly last night tossing and turning quite a bit.  I called Dr. Bradley and she said to do "little Noses" and run a humidifier in her room at night.  She slept a lot at Nana's today, guess she had to catch up on her sleep from last night. ;)  After we got home she seemed pretty happy and I was able to catch these pictures.

Thanks to everyone who came to Burger King night to support Liberty School.  They had a great turn out

Check out Kara Brooke holding herself up on her elbows...such a big girl!

Kaylee sends out a HUGE thank you to Jennifer P. for the box tops!

Happy Birthday to Me-Me!
We went to Olive Garden to celebrate her day!

While we were at the Olive Garden Kaylee had her Daddy pull a tooth.  Check out that gaping hole on the bottom of the huge smile!

Thank you Mr. UPS man!

Lookie what the UPS man brought to my house today....
Don't you just love Kaylee and Kara Brooke's new Kelly's Kids outfits???  I sure do, be on the lookout, ummm say sometime around Christmas, for those two matching outfits on the backs of my babies... on maybe a Christmas card perhaps?!  Oh and Kaylee's green and pink outfit is just to die for as well!   I love being able to buy matching girlie clothes, guess I better enjoy it while Kaylee still thinks it is cool too!  ;)

Say a little prayer...

Please dear friends....say a little prayer for me and Kara Brooke  as she will make the transition from Nana's to her new babysitter, Mrs. Sheila.  I'm sure KB will do just fine, I'm just really worried about me, I will probably go crazy tomorrow!  Not that I don't trust our sitter but this is my baby.....and will she know that Kara Brooke needs to burp half way through her bottle, that she likes to sleep on her belly, that she has to lay on HER blanket because of her sensitive skin and that she really loves her paci and please if she drops it, wash it off....I mean seriously...she does know all of this stuff right??  Of course she does, she knows exactly what she is doing and besides KB will have her good friend Ethan P.  (Susan's little boy) there with her and I know that HE will take good care of her!  I think I have packed up everything in the house that she could possibly need...poor Mrs. Sheila...I would hate to deal with a Mommy like me, therefore I must find self control!!
Oh yeah and Kaylee would like to invite everyone out to Burger King Wednesday night as she will be collecting receipts for her school between 6:00 & 7:00!  See ya there!

3 months old

Our little pumpkin is 3 months old today!  We went to see Angie at Gambill Photography yesterday for KB's 3 month pictures.  I don't think it was very successful but I guess I should wait until I see the proofs before I say that.  Kara Brooke wasn't in the best of moods but hopefully Angie was able to capture a few.  Be watching for those.

Kara Brooke got her first book in the mail today from Ms. Dolly!
Big sister reading The Little Engine That Could
to little sister.

So this morning I hear Kaylee in the bathroom making tons of noise, I go in there and this is what I see...

Yes that is right, she is standing on the toilet with and empty toilet paper roll in hand with a fly trapped in the toilet paper roll!
