Weigh in & weekend

Well I know you have been looking for me and wondering what is going on with the whole weight loss thing...no I haven't given up or completely blew it, we just had a busy, busy weekend!  It is definitely no secret that the weekends are the hardest but thankfully this month is jammed packed of weekend fun from now on.  As I opened my eyes this morning, I thought well lets do this and just see how week one went!  I stepped on the scale and I am happy to report that I lost 2.5 pounds this week!  No doubt, I was extremely excited!  That is encouragement enough for me to continue to live healthier!  Just for the record we did eat at El Mexico tonight!  Thanks for the inspiration this week friends.  Can't wait to see how I do this next week!

As I mentioned earlier we were busy all weekend, here are a few random pictures.

Kris starting the fire pit for the first time, we are having a Halloween get together later this month and he wanted to build a fire in it before then.  I guess he wanted to make sure he knew what he was doing! Ha!  Please excuse the dead palm in the back ground he will be soon replaced with a mum!

And sweet Kaylee, bless her heart she has had the worst time here lately, she has been back and forth to the Dr. for two weeks.  I think we have finally got to the bottom of her troubles and now her last bout has been a UTI, poor thing but that is better too.  She brought home her first six weeks report card for the 3rd grade and we are very proud to annouce she made principals list with staright A's!!  She did have a lower A in one subject that she was not happy with but it was an A never the less to me.  She is such a perfectionist!  :)
